California Yearly Service Plan (CA-YSP)

Chuck D. Michel, Esq.

Flat Fee Legal Representation – From the very first day that a client begins their participation in the CA-YSP, FFLGuard’s Preferred Counsel for California Legislation and Litigation, Chuck Michel, serves as every participant’s principal resource to safeguard their business. If a client ever finds their FFL or business at risk by CA authorities, they will already have Mr. Michel and his team on their side.

California-Specific Law Plus Guidelines (the “CA-LPGs”) – CA clients get our proprietary “tip sheet” of helpful hints, legal precedent, and professional advice dealing with CA-DOJ on state-specific issues. So long as the CA-YSP client meets a 90% CA-LPG standard, that client qualifies for certain CA-specific legal services without additional fees.

California Gun Laws: A Guide to State and Federal Firearm Regulations – Clients get Mr. Michel’s authoritative reference book, along with additional memoranda on California gun law issues.

CA-DOJ Audit Intervention Unit – During a CA-DOJ or local agency compliance inspection, FFLGuard will intervene and monitor the proceedings, centralize the results for use by other FFLGuard clients, interface with the inspecting CA-DOJ (or other) officials, and update FFLGuard counsel as appropriate.

Civil Litigation Defense Unit – If a civil complaint by a CA Gun Control outfit or a CA municipality calls a CA-YSP participant’s business practices into question, FFLGuard will pay the client’s first fifty (50) professional hours in legal defense, which includes all professional time customarily afforded by a law firm to a client.

CA-YSP/Legal HelpDesk – Each client can access FFLGuard’s HelpDesk (by telephone or e-mail) for answers to CA-specific firearms law questions 24/7 from FFLGuard.

CA-Specific eCommunications – Each CA-YSP client is placed on a clients-only, joint defense privileged e-mail distribution list that keeps clients informed of current legal and other firearms compliance related happenings and events within the state of California.

CLIENTS-ONLY CA Q&A/FAQ Library Access – All CA-specific legal memos, opinion letters, other informative bulletins, and documents from the CA-DOJ, are at the fingertips of every CA-YSP client. These include notices from CA municipalities, all custom FFLGuard documents, and other valuable information that FFLGuard only shares with its clients.

COST – $1,995.00 One-time Payment + Enrollment in, at minimum, FFLGuard’s Professional Plan ($241/mo reoccurring credit card for 1-year).
