Q: On Friday a customer came to the store to pick up a hand gun that he had transferred to us. Upon review of his 4473 on Saturday morning I noticed that a copy of his mortgage stapled to the back. I asked the sales person that handled the transaction what it was for and his response was that the customers ID didn’t have his current address on it. Upon further review, I realized that the customer provided no response to question 11d (are you a fugitive?). The transaction took place with a proceed from nics despite the mistakes. I was able to track down the customer on Saturday and retrieve the gun. So, the gun is back at the store but has not been logged out. Where do I go from here? Once customer gets his ID updated what actions need to take place in order for him to pick up his gun?
