Q: Please provide clarity on the most proper way to store and file information from a transaction between two companies. One being our wholesale division which shares an FFL with our retail. We will buy direct from manufacturer and sell to other stores nationwide. I am currently keeping a chronological file of a “receipt of sale” with the FFL attached. I am curious if we need any file at all, or if we can simply keep proper dispositions within the bound book and have a file with all the FFLs we deal with.
