[PRIVATE] HD Case #14782 (Hill Country South Enterprises LLC d/b/a Armed In America Firearms)

posted on January 18, 2019

Q: We have a customer who has been buying a large number of firearms from us over space of a year and a half. We had some concerns about him in the past, but he buys many different types of firearms including antiques and his background checks are always clean. Recently, he told us a story about a time when a drug cartel kingpin bought him an alligator for a birthday present. When we questioned him on this, he told us that he was once in some kind of intelligence service and had many undercover operations south of the border. His cover was blown at some point and he now works a desk job in some kind of witness protection-type situation. We don’t know what to make of this. Should we stop selling him firearms altogether? Is there someone we can contact to verify his story or at least address our concerns? We do not want to continue selling to him if he has mental issues.
