Q: Earlier today one of our employees did two background checks (for two different customers) on-line. Both responses were “proceed” and both transactions were completed. During the review process I noticed that the employee had submitted the same social security for both background checks. I found it strange that a proceed was given on an incorrect ss # but the sale had already taken place. What if anything do I need to do to remain compliant?
