NICS – Wrong FFL # Used

posted on January 18, 2019

Q: I need some assistance please. One of our previous administrators inadvertently tied one of our salesman to another FFL (Aubrey) that our parent company has in the FBI NICS system. He has performed 121 back ground checks under our other (Aubrey) FFL but the firearm, customer, and our FFL (Fort Worth) number are on the forms. How can we rectify this situation? Is there anything that we need to do?
