NICS – Prohibited 4473 Response Discovered After Proceed

posted on January 18, 2019

Q: A NICS background check was submitted on a customer, he received a delay. He received a proceed 3 days later. When reviewing his 4473 when he came in to pick up the firearm, we noticed he check yes to question 11i. We talked with the customer about this and he had been convicted of a domestic violence crime. How do we proceed from here and since NICS gave him a proceed?
