Q: On several occasions in the last week, we have run E-NICS checks that have resulted in Delay status, only to have any information on the check disappear within the following day or two. Multiple calls to NICS customer service regarding the issue have not provided any help or insight to what the problem is, and generally result in being forwarded to a recording or hung up on. Twice we were told the transaction was a Proceed and given a Status Date but the representative would not give their name or Brady ID. How should we proceed and is their a certain section within NICS that is handling E check issues after the “New NICS” closed?
