Q: A customer was denied on 9/19/2016 and started the appeals process immediately after the denial. Having not received a reply for 6 months his attorney recommended that he attempt to purchase a firearm at a different FFL dealer in order that they would have another set of paperwork to use in figuring out the problem. When the new 4473 was processed he was approved for transfer. He stopped at my store today asking what if there is anything I can do in order to transfer the firearm to him of if we still must wait for the appeals process to be completed.
