Q: We are now using NICS online EZCheck, and have been doing so for a few months. Last week we had a delay on a customer. 6 days later the customer came in to check to see if he could pick up the gun. My clerk forgot to log on the EZCheck and released the gun and checked off the box ?No Resolution within 3 business days? and had the customer sign & date at the bottom of page 2. Later in the day it was noticed that the delay was actually a denial and had been since late in the day on which the original check was requested. My clerk is going to call the client to see if he can bring the gun in & buy it back. What else should we do?
