Q: We had a customer get delayed on 12/22/15, no resolution was provided within 3 business days so he picked up his gun today 12/4/15. Thirty minutes after he left he was denied, he brought back the gun and we logged it back in to the book. We sent him home with information to contact the ATF about the denial. 1. What do we need to do to correct the 4473? 2. Were we correct in getting the gun back from the customer? 3. How do we properly correct the A&D books (we use electronic records)?
