Q: This weekend we did a back ground check on a person and the nics/fdle came back an approval. Then, 10-15 minutes later, fdle/nics called back and said it was actually a CN and they had pressed the wrong button. They asked for us not to release the firearm but the guy was already gone. We called the customer and he did not answer the phone until the next day. The customer lives 1.5 hours away and says he can not bring the gun back until this Saturday. It is still a conditional non after the three business day wait. I have called them to verify they know whats going on and that is wads their mistake. We took screen shots of the approval for documentation. Please let us know what we should do.
