NFA – Update Trust Address

posted on January 18, 2019

Q: In reference to HD Solution 10979, I have one additional question about this solution. The ATF Form 4 was returned to me today, approved. Most of the time, the trusts themselves do not have an address written on them. As such, the guidance has been to list, in block 2a of the ATF Form 4, the name of the trust, followed by the address where the NFA item will actually, physically reside. This typically matches the address on the guest?s drivers license. In this instance, while the trust actually has a Mississippi address written on it, the address listed on the ATF Form 4 (block 2a) is actually the Arkansas address on the guest?s Drivers License (where the suppressor is actually going). Specifically, block 2a reads: THE GREGORY MATHEW WOOD NFA TRUST 36 SUN VALLEY DRIVE CABOT, AR 72023 UNITED STATES My question is, once Mr. Wood updates his trust to the address above, do we need to somehow submit a new copy of his trust paperwork to the ATF? Again, I already have an approval on the Form 4 for that address above.
