Q: NFA question – I received an SBR on a Form 3. The lower was damaged, the customer didn’t want it, the manufacturer said they’d send a replacement and I should get a Form 3 and return the damaged one to them. So now I have a Form 3 pending to return the damaged SBR. Meanwhile, I received the replacement item from them – the Form 3 says it’s an SBR (and has barrel and overall length filled in) but what was in the box was just the complete lower. So I took the upper off the other one and put it on the replacement and started paperwork for my customer. But now I have a damaged complete lower to return to them with a Form 3 pending that describes an SBR. To complicate it, I have someone interested in purchasing it damaged. My issue is that the Form 3 doesn’t match the phydical item – what do I do?
