Q: . My Gun Range Ops Mgr. sent a list of questions to the dealer and I want to make sure we aren’t missing any vital information. We are discussing the MP 5 and the M 16. I am just waiting for the go ahead. Do we need to send in a form 2 for each of these firearms? Would you clarify the following questions please? – How will it transfer to us…do we need a law letter? or how do we not fall under pre or post 1986 rules? – If it does have our name on it, doesn’t it have to be “made” at our address on the FFL? (We don’t need our name on it if it slows the process) – Best honest estimate on how long it will take from our commitment to buy, until we take possession of them? – Price delivered on an MP5 in an A3 configuration (full stock). If the barrel is a three lug HK that is fine, if they are using a non-OEM barrel I would prefer a 1/2×28 thread on the end for use of common suppressors. I may ask for 2 if the transfer process is fast and easy. – Price delivered on a AR-15 lower (safe-semi-full auto)? I would have them provide the lower and put in the parts kit. Military extension tube? I think I would like to find my own upper, but if the price is right. I may use theirs. I might ask for 2 if the process is easy. I have requested my Ops Mgr. get a scanned copy of this guys FFL sent to us before we proceed any further.
