NFA – Demo Letter for Post-86 Machine Guns for Multiple FFL

posted on January 18, 2019

Q: We have purchased post-86 machine guns for demonstration purposes and have obtained a Demonstration Letter from our local Sherriff. Can we transfer these guns to a new affiliated store that has its own FFL and SOT and use the same demonstration letter, or do we need a new demonstration letter from a different CLEO. The new store is in an adjacent county. Who could qualify as the CLEO for this purpose?
