NFA – Deactivating SBR

posted on January 18, 2019

Q: I apologize if this has been answered. I previously asked about deactivating my personal SBR that’s in a trust that has an address on it. However, I am going to keep it registered an SBR. I have already moved (in state) from the registered address of the trust and the Form 1. My understanding is that I need to amend the trust to reflect my current address, and file a 5320.20. on the 5320.20 #1, since i’ve already moved do I put my new address there(since it’s a trust do i put trust name or my name), or put the original registered address I’m no longer living at? and on the from/to dates how would I fill that out since it’s not returning to original location? I also have one silencer in that trust. should I list that along with the SBR? Finally, I own one silencer in my name who’s Form 4 is at the old address. Should I submit that on a separate 5320.20, same questions about #1 and the from/to dates.
