Q: We are gearing up to complete the movement of our suppressor and short barrel rifle inventory from our old location to our new location. We have inquired with the Helpdesk prior and were given a very helpful response by Jim Zammillo (case #11297) The old store license and new store license have the same corporate name and EIN numbers and both have valid SOT stamps. We have been advised that since the corporate name and EIN numbers are the same we can just transfer the NFA items as we would a normal firearm. When we transfer NFA inventory from the old license to the new license do we just log the NFA items in as coming from our old location?s FFL or do we have to do anything special regarding who we received them from in the first place as noted on the form 4 (i.e. Acusport, Yankee Hill Machine, etc)? Regarding the NFA items we currently have paperwork filed with the ATF, we can run the clock on our old location and any that come in can be processed out there. It is worth mentioning that our old location will be shutting down near the end of this month. For this reason we are requesting guidance in how to proceed regarding the forms that are out for ATF approval.
