Q: We use the ARS V6 POS and Inventory System, so we are always on top of our multiple sale reporting requirements. We have a customer, though, who has purchased 13 rifles and lower receivers over a period of approximately 2 months. When purchases fall within the reporting requirements, a form 3310.12 has been generated and sent to the ATF as required. Our question is: due to the number of overall purchases in this time period, do we have a requirement toward any additional reporting to the ATF? Also of note: the customer is an active Police Officer who has stated he is collecting rifles for hobby when he retires within the next year.
