Misc. – Used Firearm Consignee Reporting

posted on January 18, 2019

Q: Hello, In regards to the now circulating ATF Used Guns form 5300.5. Is a copy of Bound Book with the required fields sufficient instead of the form 5300? Also the letter says “secondhand firearms that you have not obtained from non-licensees”- In the past Consignments were not applicable. However does it now include Used Firearms the store purchased and Consignments? Also what if the Consignee picked up his or her own firearm. Does this still need to be on the report?
