Q: If we are converting a client from a different software, or our legacy software, we are encountering an issue with serial types. Often the serial types in the bound book are simply user defined and very often don’t match the required types. When we bring people onto our new system we do a data conversion, and since our new system requires the correct serial types this causes an issue. The question is can we change these types for the retailers programmatically during the conversion process, or must the retailers make the corrections prior to the conversion?
