Q: Got a quick question. United States Post Office tried to deliver a long gun to us from out-of-state. Not sure if it was coming from a licensee or an individual. Package had customers name and our name and address. Postman wouldn’t let us sign for it. Said customer had to be the one and show ID in order to release it. He said he was taking it back and would return to sender. Post Office ended up keeping the package and handing it over to customer directly with no paperwork being done through shop. If firearm was sent from an FFL, what is my exposure?
