As Director of Operations at FFLGuard, Alexis Tunell operates at the center of strategy, execution, and risk—where decisions aren’t theoretical and mistakes aren’t allowed. She is the force behind the systems, processes, and controls that allow FFLGuard to scale nationally while protecting the licenses and livelihoods of its clients.
A recognized authority in firearms manufacturing processes and services, Alexis is trusted for her command of local, state, and federal regulations, and her ability to turn regulatory pressure into operational discipline. She works shoulder-to-shoulder with executive leadership, translating vision into execution and chaos into order—without slowing the business down.
With a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Tulane University, Alexis brings analytical rigor to compliance, growth strategy, and commercial development, delivering executive-level guidance grounded in facts, foresight, and accountability.
Based in the Austin, Texas area, Alexis is married to a proud United States Army infantryman and is deeply committed to giving back, donating her time to a variety of charitable causes. Outside the office, she balances high-stakes operations with family life as the mother of two, time outdoors—and an oversized french mastiff named Angus, who firmly believes he’s also part of senior leadership.
