Q: In Washington State, when someone wants to change the address on their Government-Issued ID they can either do so online or so into their DMV office. If they go into the office, the new address is written on the back of the card. In any case, the address on the front of the ID will remain the old address, but they will have officially updated their state ID and be allowed to drive, etc. ATF says that this is not proper government-issued identification because it does not have the current address printed on the front of the card. What should an FFL do in this situation?
