Q: What is the best practice or how should I proceed in this situation? A 4473 was printed off and the customer signed on lines 16/17 (14/15), then we completed a NICS check and the customer was delayed. The customer returns later and receives a proceed but the employee mistakenly prints off another 4473, so now we have 2 actual 4473’s with everything the same. The employee has the customer sign the second form on lines 24/25 (22/23) on the second form. I now have 2 incomplete forms for one customer, one gun, one form number. Can/should I void out one of the forms? Does it matter which one?
