Q: Could you please give some further detailed guidance on how to approach questions 12.d.1. and 12.d.2. We are having lots of issues with customers answering NO to 12.d.1. and then answering NO to 12.d.2. because they do not understand how to answer the question. They are answering part 1 correctly but don’t understand they should answer part 2 N/A. This is occurring because no where on the 4473 does it say you should answer N/A to part 2 if you answer NO to part 1. We are denying sales simply because customers simply don’t understand that they should mark N/A instead of NO when they answer NO to part 1. Please give us some guidance if that question can be corrected or what exactly we are allowed to tell the customer so we can prevent this from happening.
