Form 4473 – Question 10b

Q: We had an individual come in to the store who was appeared to be white, but said he “self-identified” as African American and selected that as his race in Question 10b of the 4473. Upon further discussion, it became apparent that this was a political decision and he was not African American and knew he was not. How should we proceed?
