Q: The owner is not able to continue to operate the store personally due to health issues. The store is co-owned with his wife who does not have any knowledge of operating an FFL. Both are on the FFL as responsible persons. Is it advisable to remove them from this responsibility and leave the manager as the sole responsible person? The concern is that they are currently responsible for the proper maintenance of records and FFL operations that neither have control over or ability to perform. If removal is the right course of action, how do we do this for ATF and CA DOJ?
