Q: This is a California question about the CAA Roni Glock conversion to rifle G2 16″ barrel model. It was my assumption that in 2016 they were legal to buy but to put the Glock in it needed to have a bullet button attached or it would be considered an Assault Weapon (2016). Plus the Glock would have to had been registered as a long gun so could not be converted back to a pistol. They would have had to be owned before 1/1/17 to qualify for the assault weapon registration. So basically now in 2017 there is no legal way someone could buy and use a Roni with a 16″ barrel correct?
