A&D – Transition to New Software

posted on January 18, 2019

Q: After reviewing existing Helpdesk answers, I understand that upon changing electronic A&D record providers (i.e. software) only open items are supposed to be transferred to the new system. However, when we changed our software the new provider did in fact transfer the entire historical A&D to the new system and failed to even suggest that this might not be allowed. We still maintain the old software, so we do have access to an unaltered intact version of the “old” bound book. What is the proper course of action moving forward?
