Q: We have a receiver in our inventory that has already been sold to a customer. This receiver was necessary to complete an AR-10 build kit. The customer put both the kit and stripped lower on layaway. Then two days later came in and got them. The kit was sold, but the receiver was not rang up. There is a completed, and accurate 4473 on the transfer of the receiver, but the employee ringing up the sale failed to run the sale of the receiver through Pawnmaster, and therefore it is still listed in our inventory, but is in the possession of the customer. The layaway occurred 2/19/15, and he picked both of them up 2/21/15. Please advise on the best way to get the receiver out of our inventory.
