A&D – A&D Separate for GCA and NFA is Best Practice

posted on January 18, 2019

Q: Explain to me 5 consecutive business days, if we are open on Saturdays does that count? If we are closed on Saturdays do we start over on Mondays? We have been counting 5 business days including Saturdays and excluding Sundays but just wanted to make sure we were doing that right. Also we are now an NFA dealer. We were told that we needed to have separate books for our NFA sales. We use the Celerant POS system for our books. According to them to separate our books we either have to 1: Create a new store in our system and only use store number two for NFA items. That means creating a whole new point of sales system (adding a new computer only for NFA sales) or 2: just categorize them in our books separately. I guess our question is, do you have any other clients that sell NFA items that use Celerant, and how do they store their data?
