Q: We recently went through an FFL change. When we did, we naturally had to update our license in our retail program, Axis. The software essentially made us a brand new bound book and transferred all firearms from the old bound book to the new. This means that in our current digital bound book, all firearms that were not already dis-positioned are showing that that they were acquired from “Shot Spot” in our current bound book instead of being acquired from the original vendors/individuals/etc. Is this correct? We do no currently use our electronic book as our primary book but should we ever switch to electronic records, we want to be sure of compliance. Please let me know if you need more information on this.
