Field Operations Group

The role of FFLGuard LLC’s Field Operations Group (“FOG”), currently run through an exclusive relationship with Scott L. Braum and his law firm, Scott L. Braum & Associates, LTD., is to serve as a conduit between (1) the FFLGuard Program’s National Coordinating Counsel (“ NCC ”), (2) clients participating in the FFLGuard program (“the Program”) who are involved in any way with BATF or a BATF inspection – or – who have any questions or concerns related to any areas of the law that would be enforced by BATF, and (3) other of FFLGuard, LLC’s counsel, subject matter experts, consultants, professionals or para-professionals acting on the behalf of the Program’s clients.

The FOG acts as the primary advocate for FFLGuard clients with BATF’s Field Offices. The FOG Director routinely staffs the Program with FFLGuard counsel and professionals in the field – all with BATF-related experience – who can be available for rapid response as needed; attends and litigates certain revocation hearings and warning conferences conducted by BATF against FFLGuard clients, and otherwise handles any other BATF-related matters, all at the discretion of the NCC; oversees the information disseminated to FFLGuard clients through the Clients-Only Website (www.fflguard.org) and periodically issued “eBlast” emails; personally handles any on-site training sessions conducted at the request of the FFLGuard client; interacts with any FFLGuard client dealing with any area of the law enforced by BATF; interfaces daily with the Special Operations Section on field issues as they relate to FFLGuard clients with a critical/compromised status; and maintains oversight responsibility of FFLGuard client compliance with the Program Terms and Conditions, as well as the FFLGuard Law Plus Guidelines.
